Mike Buhrmann - Finsphere Corporation
Chairman of the Board of Directors

Mike Buhrmann is a recognized entrepreneur and business leader in the wireless industry with more than 28 years of experience building highly successful companies. He was founder, President, and CEO of @mobile, which, through acquisition by Software.com and merger with Phone.com, became Openwave Systems, Inc. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors at m-Qube, which was acquired by VeriSign Inc. He was also an advisor to UIEvolution, which was acquired by Square Enix USA. He has held executive positions with both McCaw Cellular and AT&T Wireless and holds more than a dozen patents for wireless telecommunications technology. He was a pioneer in creating the Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN), founded and chaired the Universal Wireless Communications Consortium (UWCC) and sat on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA).

Bill Ericson - Mohr Davidow

Bill Ericson joined MDV in 2000 after more than a decade of working closely with entrepreneurs, starting and building innovative businesses. He believes that entrepreneurship is a singularity of the American experience, and strives to help as a key advisor and counselor to great entrepreneurs from the very earliest days of an enterprise. Prior to MDV, Bill founded and ran Venture Law Group's Seattle office. He is particularly proud of being a member of the founding team of Rosetta Inpharmatics and serving on its Board of Directors until its acquisition by Merck in 2001.

Ravi Mohan - Shasta Ventures
Ravi Mohan has focused his entire career on the software business. Prior to co-founding Shasta ventures he was a general partner at Battery Ventures, where he led eight investments and served on the Boards of 12 software and technology–enabled service companies. Prior to Battery Ventures, Ravi built transaction processing systems at Accenture, sold and implemented packed software applications for Hyperion Software Corporation, and ran MIC, a software development firm based in India that focused on business intelligence solutions for multinational corporations. 

Paul Bailek - Frazier Technology Ventures
Paul Bailek has more than 25 years experience in financial and operations management. From 1998 to 2001 he served as CFO and Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations at RealNetworks (NASDAQ: RNWK). Prior to joining RealNetworks, Paul served as CFO for Metapath Software Corporation, a venture-backed wireless communications software company. Paul holds a degree in business administration from Seattle University and participates on the advisory board for Seattle University’s Entrepreneurship Center.

Tobin Ireland - Vodafone Group, PLC
Tobin Ireland is a tech-industry veteran and serves as Vodafone's Group Director of Commercial Development as well as Director of Vodafone Ventures. Prior to Vodafone, Tobin served with many notable companies including McKinsey, The Tribe Partnership (Managing Director), and AOL (Chief Marketing Officer). Tobin serves as Non-executive Director for multiple companies and is currently a Global Executive Committee Member in the Mobile Marketing Association.
