Mike Burhmann, CEO, Finsphere Corporation Finsphere was founded on the simple idea of being able to use a person’s mobile phone to help secure their identity. Sounds almost counter-intuitive, but that’s exactly where some of the world’s best and most powerful ideas come from.
In order to bring our idea to reality, we brought together some of the best people from relevant industries to our company. Among our employees we have people with deep knowledge of the banking and wireless industries, software engineering, data centers, regulatory environments and finance. Our employees have collectively worked in over a dozen startups, dozens of Fortune 500 companies and at times as independent consultants. Together they have produced for stake holders and investors a combined exit value of over $2 Billion. They have also filed, or been issued, over 25 patents, (not including the ones Finsphere has filed and is still developing). Our team has a shared vision of the type of company we want to build; one that sees business as a community dedicated to our customers, our partners and our employees.

With this team, a simple idea, and investment from top tier investors, we launched our business. Currently, we are engaged with the world’s leading banks, and have launched our Mobile Identity Protection™ (MIP) platform; to be used by banks to enhance the protection of their customers’ credit and debit cards and to help better detect and stop fraud.
