Mike Buhrmann
Chairman and CEO

Michael is a recognized entrepreneur and business leader in the wireless industry with more than 28 years of experience building highly successful companies. Having worked for some of the most innovative wireless companies (Cantel, McCaw Cellular, AT&T Wireless) in the 1990’s he subsequently launched startup companies focused on the intersection of wireless and other large industry categories. He co-founded a number of companies including @mobile (first wireless interface to the internet), mQube (mobile entertainment), JumpTap (mobile advertising) and Finsphere (identity authentication). Michael holds over 20 patents and has contributed to the wireless industry through his involvement at the CTIA as a board member and the Universal Wireless Communications Consortium as its founding Chairman.

Robert Boxberger
President

Robert Boxberger is recognized for his expertise in financial services and fraud management. He has more than 20 years of experience in credit, collections, authorizations and portfolio risk management. Prior to Finsphere, he was an EVP at Washington Mutual, in charge of fraud strategy and operations for the bank's credit and debit card portfolio. His experience includes EVP for Portfolio Risk Management at Providian Financial; SVP for Credit, Collections, and Fraud Management at Fleet Boston; VP Fraud Policy at Citibank; and VP Credit and Fraud Management at The Bank of New York. Robert has been invited to participate in numerous risk management groups including those of First Data Resources, Experian, and ID Analytics.

 

Chuck Dennis
VP Business Partners

Chuck Dennis has 24 years of telecom experience. Prior to Finsphere, his experience includes business planning consulting for m-Qube, which was acquired by VeriSign Inc., along with several product strategy, business development, and management positions at @mobile which, through acquisition by Software.com and subsequent merger with Phone.com, became Openwave Systems, Inc. At Openwave, Chuck was responsible for implementing and directing a world-wide account management team. He also worked at AT&T Wireless Services as the Director of Product Strategy. He holds several patents in the area of wireless telecommunications and is one of the original inventors of Finsphere's core technology.

 

Mary Reeder
Chief Technology Officer

Mary Reeder has more than 20 years of experience leading engineering and operations teams for early-stage and larger technology companies. Prior to joining Finsphere, she served as Chief Technology Officer for HouseValues, a hosted service offering for real estate professionals, where she led the full software product lifecycle, from design through development, deployment, and operations. Mary held a similar position for more than ten years at Onyx Software (now Consona), where she served as CTO/SVP for Research and Development. Prior to joining Onyx, Mary spent seven years at Microsoft Corporation, where she was a development manager for the initial release of MSN, Microsoft's first hosted service offering. She holds a patent for her work on the MSN platform.

 

Steve Anderson
SVP Operations

Steve Anderson has more than 18 years of experience in finance and administrative management. He has held key financial and operational roles in venture-backed and publicly held companies such as GTE Communications Corp., @mobile, and Openwave Systems, Inc. While at Openwave, he led the integration and roll-up of the worldwide revenue forecast for Phone.com and Software.com. He has held critical business re-engineering and strategic planning roles for Poplar Point Energy, Inc. and m-Qube, Inc., in its early stages.

 

Jeff Brennan
Chief Marketing/Chief Privacy Officer

Jeff Brennan has more than 30 years of experience in wireless and wireline telecommunications. Jeff has an accomplished track record of success in sales, marketing, and general management within the consumer and business segments of companies including Verizon, Nextel, Grande Communications, US West, and GTE. In addition to leading Finsphere’s marketing efforts, Jeff is also responsible for its privacy and security compliance. Jeff has a Juris Doctor from Seattle University and holds Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) credentials from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Noemi Flor
VP Finance

Noemi Flor has extensive experience in managing financial teams from early stage to rapid growth and expansion. She has spent over 17 years leading finance and administration functions in Northwest venture-backed and publicly held companies. Prior to joining Finsphere, she was the Vice President of Finance at Smilebox, Inc., a venture-backed global photo services company acquired by Perion Network Ltd.. Noemi's experience also includes working in a range of roles with RealNetworks, Inc., Edmark Corporation (acquired by IBM Consumer Software), and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
